Refund Policy
Pathventure is built around real events, so refund handling needs to protect both the customer and the platform from “the event already happened, now give me the money back” chaos. The default stance is credit-first when a hosted run genuinely fails, not automatic cash refunds for every rough field condition.
- If a Single Event entitlement has not been materially used, Pathventure may approve a cancellation or account credit on a case-by-case basis.
- If the event has already been published, launched, or materially consumed, refunds are generally not offered except where required by law.
- If a Pathventure-side product failure materially prevented the event from running as sold, the preferred remedy is a replacement event credit or comparable account credit.
- Monthly plans can be cancelled before the next renewal.
- Cancellation stops future billing but does not usually trigger a prorated refund for time already billed.
- Any exception remains discretionary unless a refund is required by law.
- Weather, construction, closures, staffing problems, or route-design mistakes outside Pathventure's direct control.
- Poor mobile signal, weak GPS, venue interference, or device/browser limitations where fallback options were still available.
- Change of mind after a route or paid entitlement has already been used for a live event.
Duplicate charges, accidental double billing, or obvious checkout mistakes should be reported promptly through the support contact shown in the customer's billing or launch materials. Those cases are the cleanest candidates for direct correction.
When Pathventure issues a credit, it may be provided as a replacement event entitlement, account credit, or another commercially reasonable make-good rather than a cash refund. Credits are intended to get the customer back into a workable event, not turn every imperfect field run into a chargeback story.
